HANDGUN 101: HANDGUN ORIENTATION
8:30AM-5PM
This comprehensive course provides hands-on training and the basic knowledge necessary to safely handle, load, fire, and maintain most types of semi-automatic pistols. Classroom and range time offer ample opportunity to achieve the skills for success in a casual, stress-free environment. This course may also meet and/or exceed the training requirements of many states and localities to apply for concealed carry permits. Check with your local issuing agency for more details.
What topics are covered?
- Responsible firearms ownership and applications of the handgun
- Firearms safety training for the home, workplace, and vehicle
- Safety concerns and practices while training and while carrying a firearm
- Safe use and handling of firearms
- Locking devices and techniques for firearms to prevent unauthorized gun access
- Potential dangers (penetration, ricochet, misidentification, accidental discharges, etc.)
- Ready positions
- Components and operation of modern pistols
- Types, components, and purposes of modern ammunition
- Applicable laws relating to the possession, transportation, and storage of firearms
- General guidelines on interstate travel with firearms
- Administrative loading and unloading of pistols
- Fundamentals of basic shooting techniques
- Preventative maintenance (cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and safe storage)

HANDGUN 102: BASIC HANDGUN SKILLS
8:30AM-5PM
Utilizing the SIG (Simple Is Good) principle of handgun training, this course takes students through the efficient and safe use of a handgun. Working from the holster, performing reloads, clearing stoppages, and correctly manipulating a trigger to maximize accuracy are all thoroughly taught in a relaxed, hands-on environment.
Experience Requirements
This course is Step 2 of 3 in our foundational handgun training series. HANDGUN 101 is required, or an equivalent course, before you attend Handgun 102. The student MUST know and be able to demonstrate how to safely load, fire, and unload a handgun.
Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

PISTOL MOUNTED OPTICS 102
8 HOURS
Now that you know how a semi-automatic pistol operates and how to safely handle, shoot it, and have been exposed to the advantages of a PMO in Handgun 101, learn how to maximize your performance with a PMO.
This course teaches the student, through the SIG (Simple Is Good) principle of training, safety, drawing from and recovering to the holster, stance, grip, sight alignment and sight picture as it applies to a PMO, trigger control and reloading. This course will also highlight the many benefits when shooting with a PMO.
Whether learning to shoot for sport, competition, self-defense, or skill development, leave this class with the knowledge and fundamental skills to make you successful with a pistol mounted optic.
Experience Requirements
This course is Step 2 of 3 in our foundational handgun training series. Completion of Handgun 101 is required, or an equivalent course, before you attend Pistol Mounted Optic Handgun 102. The student MUST know and be able to demonstrate how to safely load, fire, and unload a handgun.

HANDGUN 101: HANDGUN ORIENTATION FOR WOMEN
8 HOURS
This course provides the very foundation of knowledge and skill necessary to safely handle handguns in a comfortable learning environment. This informational class covers many topics including the purchase, storage, transportation, carry, and cleaning of a firearm, as well as an overview of laws regarding self-defense.
The content of this course may fulfill local requirements for concealed carry and other permits (check with your local issuing agency for their specific requirements – in most cases, this course will exceed those requirements).

HANDGUN 103: INTERMEDIATE HANDGUN

This class is designed to take your skills to the next level. Students will discuss and learn the fundamentals of moving then shooting, receive in depth training on malfunctions and how to clear them, learn different reloading techniques, discuss different sight picture options and how they relate to speed and distance, learn one handed shooting techniques and get comprehensive training in foundational handgun marksmanship.

This course is Step 3 of 3 in our foundational handgun series. Handgun 102 is required, or an equivalent course, before you attend Handgun 103. HANDGUN 104: ADVANCED HANDGUN SKILLS
8 HOURS
Welcome to Handgun 104: Advanced Handgun Skills, the fourth step in our foundational handgun series. Whether you intend to become a highly capable recreational shooter, participate in competitive shooting, or potentially utilize a pistol for defensive purposes, mastering the fundamentals is a must.
This intensive one-day course will focus on building speed and accuracy, along with refining pistol manipulation techniques, movement, and kneeling positions. It is the perfect course to enhance your competence and confidence before pursuing your chosen path with a pistol.
Experience Requirements
We require the successful completion of Handgun 103 or equivalent before attending this course. The student MUST know and be able to demonstrate how to safely load, fire, and unload a handgun as well as have demonstrated competency in working from a holster and performing reloads. Open to all. Documented completion of a basic handgun safety course is required.

INTRODUCTION TO DEFENSIVE HANDGUN SKILLS
8 HOURS

This is an intermediate level class. The student needs to be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, foundational marksmanship skills, and working from a holster. Successful completion of Handgun 104 or an equivalent course prior to registering for this course.

LOW LIGHT PISTOL OPERATOR
8 HOURS
Whether dealing with domestic, building, or outdoor scenarios, this course covers the essentials of light equipment selection, weapon-mounted or hand-held light sources, and techniques for effective search, navigation, target identification, and engagement of potential threats.

This is an intermediate level class. Student must have completed Handgun 104* or an equivalent course prior to taking this class. The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, foundational marksmanship skills, and working from a holster.

PISTOL MOUNTED OPTICS 103
16 HOURS
In this intensive two-day course, students will not only build and sharpen their fundamental handgun skills, they will also gain a much better understanding of a pistol mounted optic and its advantages. From improving the performance of the aged eye shooter, to the advantages having a single focal plane sighting system, to utilizing the PMO as a self-diagnostic training tool and much more.
