Gunsmith

Legacy Gunsmithing located in Centennial Gun Club (CGC) is seeking a full-time Gunsmith who is a focused, dependable team oriented individual. The Gunsmith position repairs and services firearms.

The successful candidate will also have good organizational skills with the ability to maintain a neat and organized workbench and possess basic knowledge of shop safety procedures.

Knowledge
  • Knowledge of the tools (i.e. hammers, punches, files, stones, etc.) and gauges needed to perform assigned duties
  • Knowledge in the use of gunsmithing machinery
Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • General and typical gunsmith duties
  • Customer service skills a must. Must be able and willing to provide excellent customer service which may include (but is not limited to) guidance on the performance and operation of firearms, assisting customers determine their needs and wants and guiding them through the purchase process
  • Willingness to learn and support other areas of the operation including retail. CGC will provide the necessary training and knowledge as needed
  • Must be willing and able to work weekends
Work Environment, Physical Demands
  • Retail setting, includes lifting to 20-50 pounds, some kneeling, standing, and walking
  • Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Must be able to pass a back-ground check
  • Must be able to pass employment drug testing
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally able to work in the United States
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English
Education Requirements
  • Successful completion of a gunsmithing school or equivalent experience

  • Pay based on experience, benefits and PTO available

Range Safety Officer (RSO)

Denver’s finest shooting sports club is looking for a customer service focused Range Safety Officer (RSO).

POSITION:

  8. Point of sale experience and familiarity with firearms is a plus

  12. You must be at least 21 and able to pass a drug test and background check.

Customer Service Representative

Receptionist

Centennial Gun Club is seeking a high energy, focused, dependable individual, to be the first person greeting our members and customers. Managing several tasks while maintaining a warm and friendly manner is crucial to success in this position. The successful candidate will also have good organizational skills with the ability to maintain a neat and presentable desk. Excellent communication skills and superior listening ability are also necessary ingredients for success in this role. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Basic firearm knowledge required
  2. Familiarity with Microsoft office suite, Gmail
  3. Comfort with learning software systems such as Celerant, EZ Facility, and Coreware
POSITION:
  1. Greeting and welcoming guests and providing them with a positive first impression
  2. Answering phone calls; taking and relaying messages; providing information to callers
  3. Directing guests to the proper service desk and answering their questions
  4. Notifying other of visitor arrival for scheduled appointments
  5. Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations on keeping a safe and clean reception area
  6. Contributing to a positive and thriving work environment by accomplishing tasks as needed
  7. Providing administrative and clerical support
  8. Preparing letters and documents
  9. Assisting the training desk with scheduling if necessary

Tuesday thru Saturday 10-6 PM
