Training Program Administrative Assistant

Provide administrative support to the Centennial Gun Club (CGC) Training program, under the direction of the Training Manager, to drive participation in the various training programs and classes offered at CGC.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Customer Service oriented individual
  2. Place outbound phone calls
  3. Answer incoming phone calls
  4. Retrieve and respond to voice mails in a timely manner
  5. Proficient in the use of personal computers
  6. Ability to learn and effectively use software programs at CGC (EZ Facility)
  7. Engaging personality which enjoys working and communicating with existing Members and potential customers
POSITION:
  • Accurately maintain CGC’s Training Database in a timely manner
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of policies and procedures with regards to the Training program at CGC to include inquiries, follow up, and scheduling
  • Consistently work towards pre-defined training metrics with regards to registering individuals for classes, communicating training class prerequisites, and follow up communication with regards to additional training offerings
  • Ability to understand, digest, and communicate the CGC standards with regards to CGC training opportunities/offerings as well as the progression of training classes
  • Promote training offerings at CGC
  • Assists members and customers with re-scheduling training classes in the event a class needs to be rescheduled
  • Ability to communicate training class utilization to the Training Manager to include the number of classes offered, class schedule(s), percent participation by class, and provide proactive notification when class registration is below a pre-defined standard
  • Participate in marketing activities like the CGC Firearms Festival to include ‘occupying the booth’ to communicate the value of CGC’s Training opportunities
  • Attend Staff and Planning meetings as needed to support the development and delivery of Training programs at CGC
  • Effectively communicate requirements and pre-requisites of training classes to include equipment, ammo, signed waivers, etc.
  • Potentially work towards a quota with regards to ‘selling’ available spots in a training class
  • Other duties as assigned by the CGC General Manager and the Director of Training

Range Safety Officer (RSO)

Denver’s finest shooting sports club is looking for a customer service focused Range Safety Officer (RSO).
We LOVE our Members and Customers and you will, too!
POSITION:
  1. Manage safe practices on the range
  2. Inviting, accommodating and welcoming to our members and customers.
  3. If you enjoy guns and love interacting with people this could be a great fit.
  4. Fast-paced, people-oriented environment
  5. Can multi-task and looks for the bright side in each situation
  6. Work is challenging but fun
  7. Club and retail environment with a great and supportive team.
  8. Point of sale experience and familiarity with firearms is a plus
  9. Most important is the right attitude and a solid work ethic.
  10. If you are already NRA Range Safety Officer preferred, if not we will train you.
  11. Work requires flexibility of hours, including evenings and weekends.
  12. You must be at least 21 and able to pass a drug test and background check.

Customer Service Representative

  10. Three years of excellent customer service preferred
  11. Requires successful completion of a criminal background check and drug testing
  12. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
  13. Hourly compensation plus a generous commission plan and benefits
