Class Description

Trufire Tactical Pistol 1 is a full-day class designed for the handgun shooter who wants to take their skills to the next level. This class is not for the novice and is taught “down range”. This fast-paced class will help refine some basic shooting and gun handling skills, reloading, malfunction clearance, target transitions and movement.

Students should own a firearm and be familiar with their operation. Students must be qualified (GCG holster qualification) to draw from the holster. 

WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR

  • Shooters who have fired and are familiar with their chosen pistol.
  • Customers who are looking for an advanced, down range pistol class.
  • Anyone looking to improve their handling skills and take it to the next level.

WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT / WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • How to safely deploy your pistol from various ready positions.
  • How to load and reload from a magazine pouch or chest rig.
  • How to perform Intermediate drills and malfunction clearances.
  • How to efficiently transition between targets.
  • How to move and shoot with your pistol. 

PREREQUISITES 

  • Completion of previous handgun training at the Pistol 401 level or similar, TruFire Academy graduate, or instructor approval (please call with any questions 303-397-3230).
  • Quality handgun with either iron or red dot sight that is zeroed. 
  • Belt set up or chest rig.
  • Handgun with holster and mag pouch.
  • MEMBERS SAVE 20%: $260.00
  • Non-Members: $325.00
  • Total Time: 7 hours (full-day class)
  • Skill Level: Intermediate – Advanced
  • Ages: 21+
  • Capacity: 10

What To Bring:

  • Your pistol and 400 rounds of pistol ammo 
  • Tactical gear welcome
  • At least 3 magazines
  • At least 2 magazine pouches
  • Water & snacks (this is a fast paced class and there may not be time to break for lunch)
  • Notebook & pen (optional)

Course Cancellation and Change Policy
  • Attendee substitutions may be made at any time.
  • Classes rescheduled less than 48 hours will incur a rescheduling fee of $25 per person.
  • Failure to attend the course, or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, will result in no refund, credit of the course fee, or rescheduling.
  • Centennial Gun Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes at any time. If we cancel or reschedule a class due to weather or circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • Centennial Gun Club is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation.
