SB25-003 - Semiautomatic Firearms & Rapid-Fire Devices
This is the newest anti-gun politicians’ attempt at an firearms ban. If passed, it would ban almost every semiautomatic centerfire handgun, rifle, and shotgun that accepts a magazine. A similar bill HB24-1292 attempted last year and was defeated. This new proposed bill is very far reaching and very concerning.
Write Your State Representative
The SB25-003 hearing on 1/28 saw strong opposition from the firearms community (thank you to all who showed up!) unfortunately, it still passed in the chamber 3-2. It now moves to the next vote at an undetermined time. In the meantime, it’s crucial to contact your senators and urge them to oppose this bill to protect your rights. Stay informed and make your voice heard!
