THIS IS WILL BE A DYNAMIC CLASS AT A FANTASTIC OUTDOOR RANGE WITH THE ABILITY TO SHOOT UP TO 200 YARDS. THIS CLASS WILL UTILIZE THE UNIQUE RANGE ENVIRONMENT FOR A HIGHLY VERSITLE CLASS
Trufire Tactical Rifle 1 Outdoor is a full-day physically demanding class designed for the rifle shooter who wants to take their skills to the next level. This class is not for the novice and is taught “down range”. We will refine some basic shooting and gun handling skills, reloading, malfunction clearance, target transitions and movement. This class is not for the novice. The outdoor TruFire classes are NOT held at our main Centennial location, details on the exact location will come roughly a week before the class starts. The outdoor location is roughly 1.5 hours east of our main Centennial location.
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR
- Shooters who have shot and are familiar with their AR-15 style rifle.
- Customers who own and are familiar with their own rifle.
- Anyone looking to improve their handling skills and take it to the next level.
WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT / WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- How to safely deploy your rifle from various ready positions.
- How to load and reload from a magazine pouch or chest rig.
- How to perform Intermediate drills and rifle transitions.
- How to shoot from various positions using cover.
- Moving and shooting with the rifle.
PREREQUISITES
- Completion of previous rifle training at the AR201 level or similar, or instructor approval
- Quality AR-15 style rifle that is zeroed with either a single- or 2-point sling.
- Rifle mag pouch or chest rig.
- Handgun with holster and mag pouch.
What To Bring:
- Your rifle and at least 400 rounds of rifle ammo
- Your pistol and 100 rounds of pistol ammo
- Chest rigs and tactical gear welcome!
- At least 3 rifle magazines with at least 1 magazine pouch
- At least 2 pistol magazines with at least 1 magazine pouch
- Handgun with holster and mag pouch (NO Blackhawk Serpa holsters allowed)
- Food & Water (there is nowhere nearby for food)
- IFAK or medical kit
- Firearms maintenance kit
- Extra batteries for optices/accessories
- Sunscreen
- Appropriate clothing & footwear for an outdoor range
- Gloves if desired
- Permanent marker & pen/notebook (note taking is encouraged)
- Chair if desired

- Attendee substitutions may be made at any time.
- Classes rescheduled less than 48 hours will incur a rescheduling fee of $25 per person.
- Failure to attend the course, or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, will result in no refund, credit of the course fee, or rescheduling.
- Centennial Gun Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes at any time. If we cancel or reschedule a class due to weather or circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a full refund.
