Colorado Senate Bill 25-003 establishes new eligibility and firearms safety training requirements for buyers of certain specified semiautomatic firearms, commonly called SSFs.
The law generally applies to certain semiautomatic rifles, shotguns, and gas-operated handguns that accept detachable magazines. However, firearm classification can be technical. Not every semiautomatic firearm is necessarily covered.
