Handguns Only
This members-only practice event gives CGC Members the opportunity to shoot competitive-style stages downrange in a safe, controlled environment. A stage will be set up for attendees to run for productive practice. This is not a scored match; the focus is safe repetition, stage work, and practical improvement.
Allowed Calibers
Handguns chambered from .380 ACP through .45 ACP are allowed.
Prerequisites
This event is best suited for shooters who have taken Intro to Competitive Shooting or who already have a competitive shooting background. Attendees must be safe and proficient in all aspects of firearm handling, including drawing from a holster, moving through a course of fire, and performing magazine changes safely.
Required Equipment
- Handgun only
- Outside-the-waistband, strong-side holster only
- No drawing from concealment
- Two magazine pouches
- Sturdy belt
- Magazines and ammunition appropriate for the course of fire
Important Participation Notes
All equipment must be attached to a sturdy belt. No exceptions will be made for holster requirements. All attendees are expected to help with setup, tear-down, pasting targets, sweeping brass, and other event support tasks.

Course Cancellation and Change Policy
- Attendee substitutions may be made at any time.
- Classes rescheduled less than 48 hours will incur a rescheduling fee of $25 per person.
- Failure to attend the course, or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, will result in no refund, credit of the course fee, or rescheduling.
- Centennial Gun Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes at any time. If we cancel or reschedule a class due to weather or circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Centennial Gun Club is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation. If Centennial Gun Club cancels a class in which you are enrolled, you will be contacted at the email address you used to register. Please be sure to provide a valid email address and check your email before class.
