Who is Mike Seeklander?
Mike was Chief Operating Officer, Director of Training, and Senior Instructor at the U.S. Shooting Academy in Tulsa, OK.
Mike served as Branch Chief and Lead Instructor for the Firearms Division with the Federal Air Marshall Service as well as Senior Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
As a former local law enforcement officer with the Knox County Sheriff’s Department as well as the Knoxville Police Department Mike worked in corrections as well as patrol and with the Organized Crime Division.
Mike served in the United States Marine Corps and was trained as an Intelligence Specialist. He is a combat veteran of Desert Storm/Shield (Gulf War I).
Mike is a professional shooter and competes in USPSA, IDPA, & PCSL disciplines. Mike holds World and National Championship Titles in practical shooting sports.
Mike has extensive formal training and experience in all phases of military, law enforcement, and competitive training.

Mike Seeklander 2-Day Advanced Competition Class
- Location: Ben Lomond Gun Club
- Physical address: 23195 Co Rd 105, Ramah, CO 80832
- Dates: Wednesday/Thursday, July 16 and 17
- Cost: $800 (There is no CGC Member discount for this class)
- Class times: 9-4pm
- Class is limited to 10 students
- Approximate round count per day: 500-700
Prerequisites:
- This is an advance class and not for a beginner or “newer” shooter.
- Each student must actively compete in practical shooting matches such as USPSA, IDPA, PCSL.
- All students will have the required competition gear.
- All safety rules will be enforced. Any student who has a safety infraction may be sent home for the remainder of the class. No refunds will issued.
What you should bring with you to the class:
- Food/snacks
- Basic first aid kit
- Plenty of water
- Sunscreen/bug spray
- Work gloves
- Chair/stool
- Clothing for all weather conditions
- Extra ammunition
- Plenty of spare magazines
- Spare handgun
- Spare batteries for electronic ear protection and optics
- Notebook and pen.

- Attendee substitutions may be made at any time.
- Classes rescheduled less than 48 hours will incur a rescheduling fee of $25 per person.
- Failure to attend the course, or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, will result in no refund, credit of the course fee, or rescheduling.
- Centennial Gun Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes at any time. If we cancel or reschedule a class due to weather or circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Centennial Gun Club is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation.
