CLASS DESCRIPTION

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS CLASS?

Do you have an interest in becoming a competent and prepared citizen defender with the skill set to use the rifle with ease as a defensive tool?

At Centennial Gun Club we know the modern sporting rifle is one of the greatest defensive tools ever made. We want you to learn and experience the versatile, capabilities and effectiveness that make the rifle the ultimate firearm of the citizen defender.

This class is part of an educational series, but completion of Level I and II Courses is not required. However, if a student does not have their own gear (sling, holster, vest, etc.) it is HIGHLY recommended that he/she attend the Level II course where considerations will be covered in detail.

We know the importance of situational awareness, and navigating the challenges in our world today. We had the same concerns and a need to acquire advanced skills. We want you to have choices and opportunities to continue advancing your skill-set.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

Objectives:

This class focuses on tactically focused development with:

  • Specific ammunition pros/cons
  • Reloads
  • Firearm transitions
  • Multiple target engagements
  • Malfunctions
  • Gear deployment
  • Shooting on the move
  • Proper grip and leverage with close/multiple threats
  • Course progression give you the tools and foundational skills for multiple interest options;
    • defense
  • An entry into a long-term advanced training program with tactical focus
PREREQUISITES
  • Age 18+
  • Signed Participant Agreement (available online)
WHAT TO BRING/WHAT IS PROVIDED

WHAT TO BRING

  • AR (or similar) of any caliber with a sighting apparatus
  • AR (or similar) of any caliber with a sighting apparatus
  • Sling for AR
  • Ability to carry 6 or more AR magazines and more pistol magazines on body
  • Minimum 6 AR magazines (recommended 30+ capacity)
  • Minimum 360 rounds of AR ammo (no steel core!)
  • Pistol and appropriate holster
  • Minimum 100 rounds of pistol ammo
  • Minimum of 2 pistol magazines
  • Appropriate enclosed footwear and long pants
  • *Optional: Suppressors, body/head armor, gloves, any other related equipment.

*You will build a foundation with critical skills that will enable you to defend yourself in complex situations.

COURSE CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY
  • Attendee substitutions may be made at any time.
  • Registrants must cancel at least 72 hours before the course date to receive a full refund minus a $15 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received within 48 hours of the course date will not receive a cash refund. Instead, a one-time class rescheduling can be made. A rescheduled course must occur within 12 months from original course date. All course fees are forfeited by the registrant if a replacement course has not been attended within the 12 month period.
  • Failure to attend the course, or cancellations less than 48 hours in advance, will result in no refund, credit of the course fee, or rescheduling.
  • The Centennial Gun Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes at any time. IF we cancel or reschedule a class due to weather or circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a full refund. The Centennial Gun Club is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such a cancellation. IF The Centennial Gun Club cancels a class in which you are enrolled, you will be contacted at the email address you used to register. Please be sure to provide a valid email address and check your email before class.
CLASS DETAILS

Proficiency will be proven in the following areas:

  • General safety
  • Weapons handling
  • Multiple target engagements
  • Firearm transitions
  • Scored timed drills

*Live-fire is a critical aspect of training and should be done on a consistent basis. Training is used as a means to confirm your skills are working correctly.

TIME: 4 Hour Class (1 hours Classroom and 3 hours Range Time)

*Minimum students to run the course 2, maximum cap is set at 10
